We are working with Tony Jones and his team at Field-Based Stem to create some amazing learning opportunities for our tamariki. We have a wonderful natural environment to draw on and teachers who know how to make the most of it. So far we have worked with microbiologist Amelia Hadfield and world-famous entomologist, Ruud Kleinpaste. These sessions are hands-on, in-the-field science designed to help our learners consolidate their curiosity and existing knowledge and recognise the science we do every day.
Field-Based STEM is run by Tony Jones and draws on the scientific knowledge and skills of a wide range of experts. If you are interested in what we do here, get in touch with Tony at [email protected]
